He has previously held senior operational and executive positions at multiple biotechnology, diagnostic, and specialty pharmaceutical companies.

With over 25 patents and multiple innovation awards, he brings more than two decades of experience in data, analytics, and AI across healthcare, finance, and aerospace. He combines deep engineering expertise with a focus on building scalable, secure, and human-centered AI systems that advance precision healthcare.

Director of Mobile Apps
Ryan leads product strategy and development at EverBetter, combining over 16 years of experience in mobile and software innovation to turn complex healthcare challenges into intuitive digital solutions. Blending technical depth with a strong product mindset, he drives the creation of user-centered platforms that connect data, design, and clinical insight.
Murilo Schunke
Engineering Director
Murilo leads AI and development initiatives at EverBetter. He began his professional journey in tech at 17, and his career as a full-stack engineer has seen him build everything from scratch, including decentralized microservices for HIPAA-compliant medical systems. His technical expertise is backed by an MBA and degrees in Business Administration and Accounting.
Robert Montano, Esq.
General Counsel
Robert brings more than two decades of experience in contract negotiation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, combined with a strong entrepreneurial background. He supports EverBetter in charting a course that is innovative, goal-driven, and legally sound. Robert is a graduate of Vanderbilt University (J.D.), Belmont University (M.B.A.), and Hamilton College (Bachelor’s).
Rick Turton
Health Technology Product Leader
Rick is a health technology product leader and iOS developer focused on privacy-first, evidence-based digital health systems that place patients at the center of care. He has led design and development of patient-controlled health data systems, personalized N-of-1 clinical trial applications, and collaborative care coordination tools. A central theme of his work is data sovereignty — designing systems where consent, transparency, and long-term trust are foundational rather than bolted on. He studied at California State University, Northridge.
John Wiese
Chief Information Security Officer
John is an expert in the security architecture behind modern global commerce. As a pioneer of “tap and pay” NFC technology, he worked directly with the world’s largest credit card companies to build and validate secure transaction systems. He brings that FinTech expertise to healthcare, applying the rigorous principles of payment security to HIPAA and patient data protection.

John “JJ” Spegele

JJ supports EverBetter’s efforts to deliver patient-focused tools and innovations in clinical research. He brings a distinguished military career and two decades as a global executive in technology, application development, data management, and operational delivery, across defense, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences. During the COVID pandemic he led efforts to improve laboratory workflows, sample management, and data reporting. He is currently a doctoral candidate in biomedical health informatics.
